@dozenboxingboxing tips for the day. A big thing I hear during class is “I feel weird leading my combo with a hook! I feel like I have no power”. The way to create power and feel more comfortable with this punch is to slightly “load up” to the side tour going to throw the hook on. Example in this video I slight squat and bend toward my right or left side before throwing my “3” front hand hook or “6” back hand hook. As long as I don’t lean to far back or forward and throw my balance off , I should be able to properly shift my weight and turn my feet as I punch. Keep your chin down , eyes on the target and turn your shoulders as you throw these punches. DONT HOLD YOU BREATH! Relax as much as possible when punching. Also make sure you lead with your arms in front , never lead face 1st because you will be the one getting KOd if you do haha. #jrich.fit#dozenboxing#boxing#punch#knockout#fitness#fit#health#wellness#workout#work#bob#instagram#instafit#gym@classpass
